Lake Trails Territory Scouting Program Leader of the Year
This award is presented to an adult who is in a program leadership role (Cubmaster, Assistant Cubmaster, Den Leader, Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster, Venturing Advisor or Assistant Advisor, Sea Scout Skipper) and has lead their unit with success in the past year. Success means using the aims and methods of their program
to lead members of their unit to have fun, learn skills, develop leadership, and live by the Scout oath and law. The territory will award up to two of these awards.

Lake Trails Territory Scouting Rookie Leader of the Year
This award is presented to an adult who is in their first year of volunteering for Scouting. They have demonstrated enthusiasm and success in their role in their unit and have completed the adult training required for their position. They have stepped up to fill a role in their unit. Through their example, other adults have been encouraged and motivated to follow their lead. The territory will award up to two of these awards.

Lake Trails Territory Scouting Family of the Year
This award is presented to a family who has participated actively in Scouting in the past year and set leadership examples for others. Family members may have participated in any of several programs (Cubs, Scouts BSA, Venturing, Sea Scouts) and/or at the territory or council levels. Youth and adult members of the family have actively contributed to the success of their unit, showing advancement and leadership at all levels. Through their example and efforts, this family has embodied the spirit of Scouting. The territory will award up to two of these awards.

Guiding Paddler Award
This award is presented to an adult unit volunteer who has made a meaningful contribution to the unit’s success in the past year. A pack, troop, crew, or ship may nominate one or more people for the award. There are no limits on the type of contribution an individual may have made, but it should be something that has helped guide youth and inspired other adults. Please use this award to allow the territory to give special recognition to notable contributors in your unit.

The nomination form for the territory awards can be found here: https://www.cordray.org/LTNomForm.pdf.

Please submit all nominations to Rick Cordray at rick@cordray.org. All nominations are due by May 26, 2025.
