YPT EXPIRES SOON!

Have you taken the NEW Safeguarding Youth Training yet? Make sure you take it before SUNDAY, MAY31, 2026, that is when Youth Protection Training EXPIRES! The Safeguarding Youth Training course is available in the Volunteer Learn Center in English and Spanish. This training is required for all Scouting America registered volunteers and is a joining requirement. You must take the full course at least once before taking the refresher course. Chief Seattle Council Trading Post is seeking a part‑time team member to serve our Scouting families. In this position you will support customers, process sales, assist with merchandising, and prepare online orders.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Customer service and checkout support
  • Stocking, tagging, and organizing merchandise
  • Maintaining clean and welcoming store displays
  • Preparing online orders for pickup or shipping
  • Assisting with store opening/closing routines

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hours available: 15-20 hours per week
  • Hourly Wage: $21.31
  • Paid Sick Leave: 1 hour accrued for every 40 hours worked
  • 403(b) Matching: Eligible after 1,000 hours worked

Range and Target Activities

Range & Target activities in Scouting teach respect and safety while introducing youth to a variety of fun, interactive program experiences. Scouting’s Range & Target Days and individual trainings offer safe, responsible, and intelligent handling, care, and use of firearms, archery, and hand-held throwing sports in planned, carefully managed, and supervised by certified Range Activities Directors.
