Eagle Rank Application
Eagle Scout Rank Application
Producing and Submitting an Eagle Scout Rank Application
Introduction
When you are ready to complete your Eagle Scout Rank Application, generate the application from Scoutbook Plus. Scoutbook Plus uses the current Eagle Scout Rank Application and populates the form directly from your advancement records, helping ensure accuracy and completeness. Before submitting your application, review all information carefully, including personal information, advancement dates, merit badges, leadership positions, and your name as it should appear on your Eagle Scout Certificate.
Eagle Scout Rank Applications are retained electronically as permanent records. To ensure these records remain clear and legible, all applications must be generated electronically. Handwritten applications are not accepted.
Submit only the original PDF generated from Scoutbook Plus. Do not submit photographs, screenshots, or photo-to-PDF conversions. Taking a few minutes to review your application before submission can help prevent delays and ensure your Eagle Scout achievement is documented accurately.
Documents to Submit
Submit only the following documents to the Council:
- Eagle Scout Rank Application: Original PDF generated through Scoutbook Plus
- Council Eagle Scout Information Form: Submit this form at the same time as your Eagle Scout Rank Application. This form ensures the council has current contact information for the Eagle Scout candidate’s Parent/Guardian so important Eagle Scout communications and event information, including the Eagle Scout Recognition Banquet, are delivered correctly.

Your application is certified and forwarded to the appropriate District or Territory Advancement Committee. An email notification will confirm certification, and your District or Territory Eagle Scout Coordinator will contact you about scheduling your Eagle Scout Board of Review.

There is no reliable timeframe between council processing and the return of Eagle Scout credentials from the National Council. The council cannot guarantee when it will receive Eagle Scout credentials.

The Eagle Scout Presentation Kit includes:

- Eagle Scout Cloth Badge
- Mother’s Pin
- Father’s Pin
- Mentor Pin
If the standard parent pins do not meet your family’s circumstances, the council is happy to exchange pins to better reflect your family situation.
