WHAT AN INCREDIBLE SEASON FOR THE SEATTLE MARINERS!

Chief Seattle Council’s Mariners Scout Luncheon event is an outstanding opportunity for Scout alumni, donors, and Scout parents to come together with the Mariner’s to support Scouting’s mission of providing character and leadership development programs for youth. 

Donations support nearly 14,000 boys and girls in programs across the Chief Seattle Council area,  including nearly 1000 underserved youth in Scouting programs.

About the Pillar of Puget Sound Award

The Pillar of Puget Sound Award recognizes those with extraordinary and truly noteworthy service to the Puget Sound community. Past award recipients including Sally Jewell, Jack Creighton, John Stanton & Theresa Gillespie, Jeff and Tricia Raikes, Phil Condit, Charles Pigott, Gov. Dan Evans, William Gates Sr, Wayne Perry, Dr. Robert Gates, Michael Garvey, Scott Oki, Howard Lincoln, Phil Smart, Gov. Gary Locke, and R. Miller Adams.

Our 2025 recipient was Bob Donegan. Our 2026 Pillar of Puget Sound will be announced soon!

*Valued by the Independent Sector, a Federal Agency that  determines the value of volunteer service hours at $33.49 / hr.  Meaning Chief Seattle Council Scouts returned $4,018,800 in community Service.
