Venture Crew 498 Open House – June 23-24 2023 in Issaquah
Crew 498 hosts an open house event for Scouts and Scouters interested in entering a crew environment. Crew 498 is based out of Issaquah and currently has 7 registered members. Our members are highly involved with the Council and Lodge constantly looking for ways to serve others. The event will feature both a Dutch oven cook-off and shooting sports.
Please join us on June 23rd and 24th at Issaquah Sportsmen’s Club. Events begin at 5:30 on Friday with a Dutch oven cook-off and evening entertainment. A safety briefing will occur at 9:30 on Saturday morning. Any Scout or Scouter who wishes to shoot must attend the briefing.
Both youth and adults are welcome to attend the event to meet crew leadership and assist in the cook-off. Scouts will sleep in the clubhouse or outdoors in a tent with a buddy. This does count as a night of camping for the camping merit badge.
Please bring:
- Dutch oven (or other cooking supplies) and ingredients
- Med forms A&B
- 10 essentials and gear needed for an overnight
- Scout Spirt
