Scoutreach

The Scoutreach program ensures that all young people, have the opportunity to experience the life-changing benefits of Scouting. By focusing on positive youth development, character building, and intentional mentorship, the program equips young people to become confident, capable leaders in their communities. To remove traditional barriers to participation, Scoutreach provides the direct leadership, materials, and the resources necessary to successfully support your group’s or school’s involvement.

Our regional footprint continues to expand. So far in 2026, Scoutreach has proudly served over 30 sites throughout the region, delivering an engaging mix of weekly enrichment activities, inclusive family events, and unforgettable outdoor adventure programs.

If you are interested in bringing these opportunities to your youth, the Chief Seattle Council is fully equipped to assist you with the onboarding process, custom program planning, and ongoing support.

Scoutreach provides opportunity to get outdoors. From conservation education to hiking and climbing, youth connect with the environment and excel outdoors.
Scoutreach builds confidence and life skills through hands-on activities like archery, and CPR. By participating in these challenges, youth gain resilience and character in a supportive, mentored atmosphere.
Scoutreach offers hands-on activities that foster character and compassion, aiding in the development of stronger learners, citizens, and leaders.

Outdoor Adventure Builds Skills & Confidence

When Scoutreach partners with outside organizations and schools that support youth and families, we are able to offer day trips to one of our camps. This opportunity gives Elementary through High School aged students a a day of age-appropriate activities specifically designed for them while at camp.

Single day visits, Monday-Friday are available:

Activities at camp can include: Swimming and boating (must take a swim test at camp in order to participate in aquatic activities), fishing, rifle and archery range, climbing, metal working and various other crafts and activities. During this time, merit badge work may be happening, youth visiting for the day may also participate.

Location are either Camp Pigott or Camp Edward in Snohomish, WA. Camp depends on the age of youth.
