Friends of Scouting Breakfast on February 4, 2026

Join us for a fun event and learn about the amazing Scouting success happening in the Seattle Territory.

Our featured speaker will be Dean Allen, Chairman and CEO of McKinstry.  McKinstry is a national leader in designing, constructing, operating, and maintaining high-performing buildings.  Dean is leading transformative changes to address the overlapping climate, affordability, and equity crises.  He is a board member for the Washington Roundtable and serves on the Seattle Children’s Hospital Foundation Board and Research Committee.  He is also a founding board chair of Washington STEM.

We will also be recognizing Andrea Suarez of We Heart Seattle with the Suzie Burke Community Leadership Award.

There will be an opportunity to invest in the Future of Scouting.  There is no cost for attending the breakfast, but it costs $500 a year to support an individual Scout.  We are asking each attendee to consider contributing that amount.

Yes! I want to support the BSA as a (monthly giving) Summit Circle Member.  Give a little each month to make a big difference!  Click Here to go to the site.

A monthly recurring donation is the easiest and most convenient way to support Scouting. Since your gift renews automatically, we don’t need to send reminders. That saves us money on paper, postage, and phone calls and puts more of your donation toward providing an excellent program for Scouts. You may change or stop your contribution at any time.

FRIENDS OF SCOUTING CAMPAIGN         IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN!

Our annual FOS fundraising campaign will officially start in December!

Each Unit has a specific goal and will need to have a presentation at their winter Blue and Gold or Court of Honor to contribute to the Aurora District. We handle the presentation all you have to do is SIGN UP!!!

There will be an informational FOS training after our November Roundtable to kick-start this campaign and help Units understand the importance of this special giving campaign and how to bring back the “FUN” in fundraising!

It is our goal to make this an easy and stress free campaign…plan to join us and learn how to make a huge difference to Scouting and enjoy the great Unit FOS incentives!
