National Youth Leadership Training is 6-days of incredible activities, challenges and fun that promotes essential leadership skills. Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills (IOLS) & Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Education (BALOO) IOLS/BALOO are required trying for camping. BALOO is a one-day training course for Cub Camping, IOLS is an overnight focused on older Scout skills. Both are excellent ways to provide the best experience possible for your unit. Introduced in 1931, The Silver Beaver Award is the council-level distinguished service award of the Boy Scouts of America.
